David, Aliens and The Jellybean Planet || Alien Story for Kids || UFO Story for Kids || Bedtime Story for Kids
By Debopam Rai Chaudhuri
In the distant future there lived a boy named David. He was a very restless child: he loved learning new things and, when he didn't understand something, he always asked about it. But, without a doubt, what he was most excited about was outer space.
David spent his hours gazing at stars and planets. Using a
super-powerful telescope, he watched what his galactic neighbours were doing.
His loyal companion was a friendly little dog named Cork, a pet from the
future, a cross between a dog and a crocodile.
One day, while searching for new satellites and snacking on
delicious stardust cookies, he noticed something that caught his attention: a
ship from the planet Jelly Bean Bean was approaching Earth.
-What do they want? Why do they come to my planet? - David wondered.
The ship continued to approach until it landed just a few meters
from David's house. Overcome by curiosity, David ran out to get a better look.
Once they set foot on Earth, some Jelly Bean Beanous aliens
began to dig a very deep hole. Cork was surprised at how easily they managed to
make such a big hole. They worked very fast and were very organized, those
aliens!
David and Cork continued to spy on them, not quite understanding
what was happening. What could the aliens want? After a long wait, David saw
how they pulled out of the hole… a giant magnet! They all carried it and put it
in their spaceship.
As soon as they lifted off from Earth with the magnet,
everything started to float. There was no gravity! It was no longer possible to
keep your feet on the ground!
David had the same feeling as the day they went on a school trip
to the Moon and experienced lunar gravity. It was like swimming and flying at
the same time.
While rushing home, David noticed that everything around him was
levitating. He climbed in through his bedroom window with difficulty and,
thanks to his reflexes, was able to avoid the bedside lamp. It almost hit him
in the head!
After all this effort and excitement, David was ravenously
hungry, so he went down to the kitchen to eat something. But as soon as he
opened a carton of milk, it started to float and there was no way to drink it. David
was looking for a solution to the problem, since without gravity everything was
more complicated. Until he came up with a great idea.
David headed to the garage, started the engine of his space car
and headed for the planet Jelly Bean.
– Only I know who is responsible! – David exclaimed.
When he was very close to the planet Jelly Bean Bean, a red
light came on and the space car started beeping. The battery was dead! He was
floating in the middle of space, unable to move forward. Very scared, David
screamed and waved his arms in the hope of meeting another ship that would help
him.
Mr. Suger, a resident of the planet Jelly Bean, saw David's car
floating adrift and decided to come to his aid. David breathed a sigh of
relief. He was very grateful to Mr. Suger.
– I will take you to my planet, there you can charge your
vehicle! – the strange space being reassured him.
Once they landed on the planet Jelly Bean, David found a huge
party going on. The inhabitants of Jelly Bean were all dancing and singing
together. They were having a great time!
"What is this earthling doing here?" one of the aliens
asked suspiciously.
– I am David and I have come to recover the magnet that you took
from Earth. Now on my planet everything is upside down!
The aliens took David to their big boss.
– It's true what you say, David, but we were tired of floating
and floating - answered the alien chief after hearing the boy's words - We want
to be able to dance like you, go hiking, climb, dive into the water, eat
without the food levitating and all that stuff that you earthlings do, it's so
much fun!
– But humans are not made to float and if everything flies
through the air it will be a disaster. I haven't even had a snack! - David
protested.
– I’m so sorry, David, we didn’t mean to bother you. But we want
gravity too. What can we do?
David realized that he had to find a solution that would work
for everyone, since the inhabitants of the planet Jelly Bean also needed
gravity. He proposed sharing the magnet.
And so they split the big magnet into two halves: one for the planet Jelly Bean
and one for the planet Earth.
Thanks to David, life in Jelly Bean continued to be a party. On
Earth, with less gravity, many things changed. Now everything was more fun. The
jumps in the park were twice as high, the children invented new games and the
squares and streets of both towns and cities were filled.
And at snack time, when David blew bubbles with the milk, he
played at popping them with his nose. Sharing brought good things for everyone!
And with happy and contented earthlings and aliens, David says goodbye until
the next story.
